Earlier this morning, while having a discussion on a TVAM programme, Prof. Charmaine Gauci confirmed that Malta’s total tally of COVID-19 cases will surpass the 3,000 mark after testing was done.

This means that we should expect over 21 new cases today, as yesterday’s total number stood at 2,979.

During the programme she shared that the cases in elderly homes are now under control and it seems that the spread has decreased, as single digits are being recorded per day rather than the larger numbers we saw earlier this month.
