Malta to NYC! Giovann Attard featured on Fox 5 after becoming Executive Chef at NYC restaurant
Chef Giovann Attard is making a splash in the culinary world after being invited to appear on ‘Good Day New York’, one of the city’s most-watched morning shows on Fox 5. During the segment, Giovann discussed Aqua Roma, the Italian part of a two-concept restaurant in New York City, where he has taken the reins as Executive Chef.
Hailing from Gharb, Gozo, Giovann’s passion for food started at an early age. He honed his culinary skills in Malta, completing a four-year culinary arts course while also working at a five-star hotel. Seeking broader horizons, Giovann moved to the UK, where he worked at prestigious places like The Stafford London, One&Only the Palm in Dubai, and the renowned Norma back in London.
His new adventure has taken him to New York City, where he’s launched the Italian arm of Aqua, and is bringing his beloved Mediterranean roots to the table.
On Good Day New York, Giovann showcased some of Aqua Roma’s incredible dishes from both the Asian and Italian sides of the menu, leaving viewers hungry for more!
