Malta's COVID death toll reaches 146 as five more elderly persons pass away

Maltese Health Authorities have announced that Malta has registered five more Coronavirus-related deaths, bringing the total tally up to 146. 

According to the statement, the first case is a 77-year-old man who resulted positive on 10th November and passed away yesterday at Mater Dei. A 74-year-old man is the second case, who tested positive on 22nd November and passed away yesterday at Mater Dei.

The third case is an 80-year-old man who also passed away yesterday at Mater Dei hospital after initially testing positive on 22nd November. An 80-year-old woman is the fourth victim who had tested positive on 17th November. She passed way in hospital yesterday. The final case is a 91-year-old woman who first tested positive on 26th November. Yesterday, she unfortunately passed away at Mater Dei.
