Making Malta proud! Matthew Abela secures silver medal at the Kampala Badminton International in Uganda

Maltese badminton athlete, Matthew Abela secures a silver medal for a Malta at the Kampala Badminton International competition in Uganda.

He competed alongside Israel’s, Maxin Grinblat where they made it all the way to the final at the men's doubles event.

Unfortunately, the talented duo lost the game as Uganda’s team managed to take the top spot after they won 21-15, 21-14.

They still walked away proud and are bring home a silver medal.

Matthew is set to compete again next week in both single and doubles events at the Ugandan International.
