Thinking of heading to the car wash? Think again. According to Malta Weather, “blood rain and strong winds are expected today as an upper-level trough pushes fine desert sand from northern Africa towards Malta and Gozo.”

Some weather sites are also predicting chances of isolated thunderstorms set to shower our islands in the afternoon.

But we’re in luck! As of tomorrow, the weather should clear up and (should) be staying that way until Saturday. As the forecast stands, isolated showers are forecasted again for Sunday.
