'The Wives' is a six-episode British mystery thriller about a family that takes an annual holiday to Malta—until one year, one of them goes missing. The series premiered in the UK earlier this week on Channel 5, featuring British stars Jo Joyner and Tamzin Outhwaite, both known for their roles in 'EastEnders', alongside Angela Griffin from 'Coronation Street'.

Filmed on the island in February, the series showcases beautiful locations like Golden Bay, Valletta, and Mellieha. In interviews, the cast praised Malta’s architecture, food, and culture, along with the talent and professionalism of the Maltese crew.

It’s heartening to see how productions like these not only spotlight Malta’s beautiful filming locations but also leave cast and crew with positive experiences of working on the islands.

Have you caught a glimpse of any film sets recently?
