DJ JJoy has shared that he never thought he’d be one of Malta’s cases, but indeed he was. He also disclosed that it was quite a difficult thing to go through.

“I never thought I would become infected with Covid-19, but I did and it took all my strength away,” JJoy starts off in a post on socials. “These past two weeks have been a nightmare, but thankfully I’m feeling myself again and looking forward to get back to normal life with a renewed sense of purpose.”

He’s also shared an appeal to the public, especially as we get closer to the festive season. “I’m going to start by sharing this post to urge people to re double their efforts so as not to catch the virus, especially during the festive season. Be merry but be careful.”

He thanked his family, friends, staff for having his back and “the health authorities who did a great job monitoring my progress on a daily basis. Bring on the vaccine let’s get back to normality.”
