If you’re making the most out of today’s great weather, we don’t blame you. It’s gorgeous out there! And if you’re heading to the beach today, we’ve got you covered. Here are the bays recommended according to today’s weather forecast.
Maltese Islands Weather have shared a map of the bays that “are likely to be free from jellyfish, rough sea, debris,” and the sort. “This does not mean that only these beaches are safe,” they note.
Those listed include St Thomas Bay, Hofriet, Marsaxlokk, Pretty Bay and Rinella Bay towards the south of the island, St Paul’s Bay, Mistra Bay, and Mellieha in the north, and Hondoq ir-Rummine and Mgarr ix-Xini in Gozo.
They also shared a notice of practicing safe social distancing considering the COVID situations. “Remember to always respect personal space. The situation may be of no concern to some, but it may be of paramount concern to others. If the beach is not crowded, it's common sense to allow space between one another.”
Happy swimming!
