Gozo’s Zebbug council to take “necessary action” as heaps of rubbish left on the side of the road
Gosh!

That’s rubbish! Gozo’s Zebbug Local Council has announced it will be taking action against those individuals that left heaps of rubbish on the side of the road

“As requested by the Mayor, the Council, with proof in hand, will be taking necessary action against the individuals and food establishments that committed this act of vandalism,” the Zebbug Local Council in Gozo said on Facebook. “There are still people who don’t understand what cleanliness and respect towards others mean.”

It seems like this is a recurring problem as locals shared photos of other places with litter and such rubbish. They have urged the council to install CCTV cameras in various locations and to fight for more wardens to patrol the area so this instance, and others like this, will be prevented.
