All Gozo Fast Ferry trips scheduled for tomorrow, 1st October, have been cancelled due to ‘inclement weather conditions’.

The Gozo Fast Ferry team took to social media to reveal the news.

According to the Malta International Airport’s (MIA) weather forecast, Saturday is not expected to bring about any showers. Having said that, winds are set to get as strong as Force Six later in the day.

The Maltese Islands Weather Facebook page predicts similar weather for tomorrow, although it noted that the same North-western winds predicted by MIA can get as strong as Force Seven.

In light of this, Maltese Islands Weather forecasts Malta’s sea to be ‘moderate to rough’ tomorrow.

These relatively strong winds are expected to persist all throughout the weekend, with Maltese Islands Weather predicting North-western Force Six / Seven to Force Five / Six winds on Sunday.

This is the second time that the Gozo Fast Ferry is amending its schedule this week.

Just last Monday, the company operated by an updated timetable in lieu of the day’s adverse weather conditions.
