GO have shared that they are currently experiencing “extensive damage” to their cables that is affecting various parts of the south of the islands.

“During the past couple of hours, GO has unfortunately experienced extensive damage to its cable infrastructure following an incident caused once again by an unrelated third party. All services in Zejtun, Zurrieq, Ghaxaq, Mqabba, Qrendi, Safi, Kirkop and surrounding areas may be impacted.”

“Our Technical Team was immediately dispatched to the site to assess the damage and start repairs with minimal delay. Estimated time for repair is still unclear, but we will continue to give regular updates as these are received from our technical team on the ground.”

“Such situations are as frustrating to us as they are to you, our esteemed customers. We remain committed to do everything to restore services in the shortest time possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” they shared.
