Go green! You can ride the bus for FREE this Friday in Gozo
Just in case you needed another reason to switch to public transport…

Benjamin Abela

One of the easiest and most impactful ways you can help the environment is by rethinking how you travel.

Sure, it’s comfortable to drive yourself everywhere, but let’s face it – it’s neither cost-effective nor environmentally friendly.

So if you happen to be in Gozo this Friday and need a bit of a push to start riding the bus, we’ve got some great news for you!

As part of European Mobility Week, which will be taking place from 16th to 22nd September, Gozo will be offering free public transport for an entire day on Friday.

This commendable initiative is being organised by Eko-Ghawdex, a subsidiary of the Gozo Ministry, in collaboration with Transport Malta.

The two organisations launched this initiative to encourage motorists to switch from private to public transport and thus, reduce emissions and help Mother Nature – well played!
