Mayor Kevin Cauchi took to Facebook to announce the roadworks: “[Yesterday] we started to resurface an extensive part of the road leading to Xatt l-Ahmar which was in a bad state of repair.”

The stretch of road leads to Xatt l-Ahmar, a beautiful inlet rocky beach favoured by locals and divers for its beautiful waters and diving sites. Criss-crossing through adjacent fields, the road is also popular among trekkers.

The mayor also extended his gratitude towards Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri as well as CMU for their assistance.

Summer, loading!

When she’s not having a quarter-life crisis, Caroline is either drawing in a café, frittering her salary on sushi or swearing at traffic in full-on Gozitan. There is also the occasional daytime drink somewhere in the equation. Or two. A creative must be allowed at least one vice.
