One controversial author, two leading ladies, a powerhouse director and only 45 audience members admitted per show

Ever thought about witnessing a theatre production in the warmth and comfort of a living room? You’re in for just that this February thanks to Teatru Malta’s latest exciting production, L-Interrogazzjoni.

L-Interrogazzjoni marks the return of celebrated and controversial author Alfred Buttigieg after a four-year absence. Directed by powerhouse Lee-N Abela, Buttigieg’s narrative focuses on the complex relationship between couple Martina and Stephanie, each shackled by their own traumatic past. With their love running as deep as their wounds, their obsessive relationship comes to a head in this one-hour long production.

The production will also mark the return to the stage for actress and television favourite Clare Agius, who along with renown actress Angele Galea, will be taking on the lead roles.

The theatre will, in this case, be a private residence in Gharghur, whose living room will double as a stage. A limited number of 45 seats per show is being enforced due to the physical restraints. The exact location is currently being kept under wraps, but ticket holders are urged to keep their phones close as all will soon be revealed.

On the day, the audience will be treated to a special edition of L-Interrogazzjoni complete with a post show discussion with the cast, director, writer and special guests over a special menu prepared by the host and free flowing wine!

L-Interrogazzjoni is strictly 16+. Tickets are €18 (full) /€15 (concession) for all nights and €30 on Valentine’s day. To book your tickets visit Kultura.mt or call Teatru Malta on 21220255 for more information!
