Funds for permanent plaque in memory of 19-year-old Julian Spiteri being collected

The Balluta Barracudas FC, an amateur football team, has announced that funds for a plaque in memory of Julian Spiteri are being collected. Julian Spiteri is the 19-year-old that was tragically killed in a traffic accident over the weekend.

“The club along with Julian’s friends, colleagues, and fellow students, past and present, are collecting funds in order to place a proper and permanent memorial plaque in his memory at the site of his fatal crash,” Balluta Barracudas FC shared on social media.

“Extra funds will be used to purchase flowers for his service and will also go towards his parents to help cover any costs and towards whatever charity or organisation that they deem fit.
