Friday 31st July: Malta registers 10 new cases & 0 recoveries of COVID-19

According to the figures published by the Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, Malta has registered 10new cases of COVID-19 after 1,314 swabs were done in the past 24 hours.

The post also noted that, “6 of today's new cases form part of the St Venera feast cluster while the rest are sporadic. Almost all of today's cases did not attend work while symptomatic.”

The islands haven’t registered any new recoveries, which means the recovery tally remains at 665 and the number of active cases stands at 150 (including those of the migrant cohort). Since the outbreak, Malta has recorded 824 cases and has performed 126,999 swab tests.
