Fresher than fresh! This new online farm map connects you directly to local farmers
Local NGO Friends of the Earth Malta have today announced the launch of a new online platform , Malta Farm Map, to promote and support local farmers to sell their local produce.
The service allows you to locate the nearest farmer from who you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, making it a great initiative to support the local farming industry as well as promoting healthy eating.
The NGO explained in a Facebook post that: “We are now urging people to login to the Malta Farm Map in order to locate their nearest friendly farmer and buy their fresh local produce directly from them. In that way they will be supporting the local farming community which had already been struggling even before the current COVID-19 crisis,” they said.
