Yep, there is absolutely no doubt that summer is here. According to Malta Weather, “the temperature across Malta and Gozo is expected to feel as hot as 38°C to 41°C for five whole days.” Excuse me, what?
This is all because of “a blast of extreme heat from northern Africa [that will penetrate] the central Mediterranean.”
Malta Airport is also forecasting these insane temps, which will reach highs of 36°C until Sunday and lows of 24°C.
UV rays are also currently at their strongest, hitting UV 10, so stay covered, wear a hat and lots of sunblock over the weekend. No one wants to be lobstered for the best part of the week!
