A special sunset tour at the Hagar Qim Archaeological Site on Friday, nineteenth of June, offers a deep dive into different forms of regional architecture. Led by expert curators, the excursion explores the prehistoric sites of Hagar Qim and Mnajdra alongside the historic Congreve Memorial and the Hamrija Tower. The guiding staff will discuss diverse building styles ranging from monumental prehistoric temples to defensive military architecture dating back to the time of the Knights of St John.
The evening event provides rare access to the park grounds without the usual daytime crowds. Participants will gather at the visitor center at six fifteen in the evening for three simultaneous tours starting at six thirty, with one group delivered in Maltese and two in English. The experience concludes with refreshments and light bites at the visitor center, with tickets available through the Heritage Malta store or their physical museum locations.
