Organised through a collaboration between BirdLife Malta's LIFE Tetide project, Wave of Change, the Astronomical Society of Malta, and Din l-Art Ħelwa, this unique event offers the chance to hear the distinctive calls of Scopoli's Shearwaters as they return to their nests at dusk. Set within one of Malta's designated Dark Sky Heritage Sites, participants can also enjoy exceptional stargazing far from the island's light pollution.
Designed for nature lovers and astronomy enthusiasts alike, the experience highlights the ecological and historical significance of Dwejra while promoting responsible wildlife observation. Places are limited, and advance booking is required to ensure a low-impact experience for both participants and the breeding seabirds.
