In between rainy weekends.

Fed up of the rain? Well, you’re in luck! The Maltese Islands will be getting plenty of sunshine from this Tuesday, which is great - but we definitely recommend making the most of it, because, you guessed it, rain is expected to return over the coming weekend.

Locals have mixed views about this autumnal weather and have been taking to Facebook to voice their opinions (as ever!) Some welcome it with open arms, saying that they are “looking forward to some cool temperatures. I think we have had more than enough of hot sticky weather!” Other complain (and rightly so), that it only rains over the weekend, ruining outdoor plans (oops!)

Today, Malta and Gozo are set to experience isolated thunderstorms, which will clear up as of tomorrow, with sunny skies ahead. However, showers are forecasted all weekend, starting Friday, and it also looks like temperatures will take a hit around the same time, with cooler weather coming our way. So there's nothing else for it - head out and enjoy the sun while it lasts!
