Drivers beware: Parts of Triq L-Imdina closing up to traffic this evening
The closure will last until tomorrow morning.

Local roads agency Infrastructure Malta (IM) warned motorists of a road closure taking hold of a part of Triq l-Imdina this evening.

As of 7:30pm, a section of this road lying between Attard and Ta’ Qali will be closed up to traffic. The closure is set to last up until 5:30am tomorrow morning.

This, IM said, is to make way for the installation of new “10-metre lane direction signs gantries along the Central Link route”.

A number of side roads – namely Vjal l-Istadium Nazzjonali and Sqaq 1 fi Triq L-Imdina will also be closed to traffic.

Infrastructure Malta urged drivers affected by this closure to take alternative routes through Attard Road or Triq l-Imdina.
