A dead dolphin has this afternoon been spotted at Exiles, Sliema, surrounded by a cloud of plastic pollution.

While the cause of its death is not yet clear, it is being assumed that the sea creature got tangled in plastic debris or fishing nets off Sliema's coast with the waves transporting its carcass ashore. Authorities have reportedly been notified of the incident.
