As the fluid situation with the COVID-19 pandemic continues to create anxiety on the islands, with several new cases linked to mass events emerging in recent days, concerns over four music festivals planned to take place in Malta over the next few months are rife.
Festivals Rhythm + Waves, Escape 2 the Island, the BPM Festival and Mi Casa are being promoted to revellers around the world who are keen to let loose after months of imposed lockdown in their countries, but questions about the wisdom of holding such large-scale events, and the validity of safety measures imposed, have been called into question.

What do you think the event organisers and local authorities should do? Do you feel comfortable attending larger scale events?
