The Mellieħa Local Council has proudly announced that local resident and master chocolatier Andrew Farrugia is once again making headlines on the international stage.

Andrew is currently in Brescia, Italy, where he is meticulously crafting what is set to become the world’s largest chocolate train; an ambitious creation being prepared for an official Guinness World Record attempt.

This remarkable project is not Andrew’s first venture into record-breaking chocolate artistry. In fact, he already made history in 2012 when he set the Guinness World Record for the longest chocolate train, an achievement that captured global attention and cemented his reputation as a leading figure in chocolate sculpture. His latest endeavour aims to push the boundaries even further!

The Mellieħa Local Council expressed its admiration and warmest wishes to Andrew, praising his dedication, craftsmanship, and the pride he continues to bring to the community.

As Andrew works tirelessly in Brescia, Mellieħa residents, and many others across Malta, are eagerly following his progress, confident that he will once again achieve something extraordinary.

Best of luck, Andrew!
