Mother Nature sure has something in store for us today, and for the rest of the week too, it seems! After a weekend of gloomy grey clouds, it finally looks like some rain is upon us.
With grey clouds setting in all morning and isolated showers already starting to hit, thundery showers are expected for the rest of the day. The temperature is forecasted to fluctuate from a high of 22°C to a low of 17°C, which will actually feel like 15°C.
Maltese Islands Weather wrote that “the area of clouds associated with the frontal system behind the red arrows will approach the Maltese Islands overnight”, resulting in rainy weather “centered at sea to our southwest.”
The unstable clouds have weakened and broken away, drifting over the islands, and gracing us with some rain. The wind looks like it will be taking a turn to the Southeast and increasing to become Force 4 to 5, according to the forecasting site.
We’re looking at quite a dull and gloomy day today, as the MET office is predicting an 80 per cent humidity rating with strong winds coming from the Southwest.
As for the rest of the week, expect quite a lot of rain and possible thunderstorms with a temperature drop to 16°C.
Are you loving this chilly weather or are you patiently waiting for the summer sunshine again?
