BREAKING: 59-year-old man becomes Malta’s 45th coronavirus-related death

Maltese Health Authorities have officially announced that Malta has registered its 45th Coronavirus-related death. According to the statement, a 59-year-old man passed away while being infected with COVID-19.

He was admitted into hospital on 1st October and was confirmed to be COVID-positive the next day on 2nd October. He was being treated at Mater Dei's Intensive Care Unit, where he passed away earlier today. The statement shared that he also had underlying health problems.
