Bernard Grech’s wife tests positive for COVID-19

Minutes ago, Bernard Grech, who is currently running for Opposition Leader, has announced that his wife, Anne Marie, has tested positive for COVID-19.

“After Anne Marie got to know that someone at her gym tested positive, my wife isolated herself straight away, got tested and it resulted negative as per advice from the Department of Public Health.”

Grech went on to share that Anne Marie remained in quarantine and after taking another test, she resulted positive. “During this period when my wife tested positive, I wasn’t in contact with her. Despite this, I am taking the decision to immediately isolate myself,” he announced.

“Although I don’t have any symptoms, my physical presence in this campaign will be suspended,” he said, sharing that for the time being, things will be done virtually, promising to remain in contact with everyone.
