Beloved Maltese beer wins big at European Beer Star Awards
The locally brewed beer took home a prestigious award.

Maltese beer is so distinctive that people from all over the world come to sit in the sun and sip on a cold one. And who can blame them? A number of different beers, locally brewed by Farsons, are so unique that Farsons Blue Label Amber Ale has just been awarded a bronze medal in the English-Style Bitter category at the European Beer Star Awards in Germany.

The world-renowned competition has been organised by Private Brauereien since 2004. Since then, it has become one of the most important and most anticipated beer competitions in the world. Prizes are awarded to high-quality beers that are full of character, are authentic and have impressive taste and quality. And Malta's own Blue Label Amber Ale fit the bill!

Farsons Blue Label Amber Ale was among 2,000 beers from 51 different countries that took part in the competition, and the award is the cherry on the cake as Farsons close their 90 years of brewing celebrations!
