Pretty Bay, located in Birzebbugia, a seaside town in the southern region of Malta, owes its name to the turquoise water and golden sand that caused many to flock to it over the years.

Those who are familiar with the bay nowadays know that it’s ‘pretty’-ness has been sadly diminished in recent years, mainly thanks to the development of more apartment blocks and the Malta Freeport, which looms large on the horizon.
