Be careful! Food embedded with nails placed in Gozo to lure animals
This act of cruelty evoked quite the reaction from Malta’s animal-loving community.

It’s extremely concerning when you note the lengths that some humans will go to just to harm innocent animals…

The MSPCA (Malta Society for the Protection and Care of Animals) took to social media to warn Gozitan pet owners of a worrying find in the Gharb / San Lawrenz area.

“There have been sausages distributed all over the place with nails embedded in them,” the organisation wrote.

“We condemn this act of cruelty and urge you to pay close attention if you have animals that roam around in the area,” it continued.

A screenshot posted by the organisation shows the exact area where the nail-embedded food was found.

Needless to say, this act of cruelty evoked quite the reaction from the country’s animal-loving community.

“Humans will always be the most evil species to walk this planet,” one commenter wrote.

“Some people are just pure evil,” added another.

Spread the word to stop our four-legged friends from getting harmed!
