Trattoria Da Pippo has seemingly become the go-to eatery for celebrities dining out in Malta.
Elle Macpherson, an internationally recognised model, businesswoman, TV host, and actress, was spotted dining at Valletta’s beloved Trattoria Da Pippo.
The Australian icon is best-known for making a record five cover appearances on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Following her rise to fame, Elle went on to launch ‘Elle Macpherson Intimates’, a lingerie line, and ‘The Body’, a skin care product line.
Elle has also had her fair share of silver screen appearances, having played the role of Julie Madison in 1997’s Batman and Robin, Candace in The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996), and Mickey Morse in The Edge (1997). Her TV credits include a recurring role on cult-classic Friends and hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL).
Trattoria Da Pippo took to social media to share an image of Elle dining at the establishment.
“Australian famous actress and supermodel Elle Macpherson at Trattoria Da Pippo. Lovely to have you with us,” the restaurant wrote.
Trattoria Da Pippo has seemingly become the go-to eatery for celebrities dining out in Malta. Just this summer, the restaurant welcomed G-Eazy and Bastille, ahead of their SummerDAZE performances, as well as British Eurovision superstar Sam Ryder who performed at Fort Manoel last July.
The restaurant also received a stellar review from well-known Italian newspaper ‘La Repubblica’ last April, branding Trattoria Da Pippo as “one of the most incredible and hidden places in Europe.”
