Valletta is coming back to life from next month after months of virtually being a ghost town. With tourism numbers down and the latest quasi-lockdown restrictions that are slowly being lifted, Valletta was heavily impacted, but it seems that there is light at the end of this tunnel.

“Activities in Valletta will begin once again in May,” Valletta Cultural Agency Chairman, Jason Micallef announced on social media. “Slowly slowly we’ll be giving life to Valletta and also getting our lives back.”

He announced that an entire cultural calendar “full of special activities” is ready to go for the months of May, June, July, August and September. More details will be released in the coming days, he said.
