‘A Correctional Officer’s vehicle was set on fire in Qormi’ - GWU

In the late hours of the night, a car was set on fire in Qormi according to a GWU’s Facebook page. The car is said to belong to a Correctional Officer.

“We have just been informed that last night, a Correctional Officer’s vehicle was set on fire in the locality of Qormi,” GWU – Disciplined Forces, Security & Law Enforcement Officers Section Facebook page announced this morning.

Pictures show the care in flames as well as the burnt aftermath. “Solidarity with the officer in question and his family,” the page said.
