Reportedly, Malta Public Transport said that one of their bus drivers has tested positive for COVID-19. The authority said that the person is doing well.

It is not known whether the driver is one of the cases mentioned in today’s press conference with Prof. Charmaine Gauci where she announced 17 new cases, or if it’s an entirely new case.

The buses that the person drove have been removed from service until cleaning is carried out while the Valletta, Marsa and Floriana offices are being fumigated.
