1. 300 days of sunshine

Malta is as sunny as his native Jamaica (most of the time), so we’re sure he’ll feel right at home!

2. Valletta bragging rights

Valletta is rich in history, and a simple stroll through the streets of this year’s capital of culture should be enough to seal the deal.

3. Malta is THE party island

Usain's love for dancing and clubbing will fit right in! There are tonnes of parties and clubs to choose from.

4. The traffic shouldn’t bother him

He’s the fastest man alive after all. He can just speed through the traffic, or take a detour through the countryside, and probably get to his destination waaay before us!

5. A church for every day of the year

He’s Catholic, often seen making the sign of the cross before racing, so he can take his pick from one of the 365 churches around the islands!

6. Maltese girls are hot

He may be Catholic, but he's also human. Usain Bolt is known to love the ladies, and Maltese girls are quite a good-looking bunch, if we do say so ourselves.

7. Relaxed and laid back

Often described as such, Bolt will adjust pretty well to Maltese life. And if he wants to reeaally chill out, he can head of to our sister island, Gozo.

8. Pastizzi

Obviously. Every person who has visited Malta knows the feeling of digging into a warm pastizz, especially at 2am after a night out. We think Bolt should also experience this tasty traditional food!
