If you thought November was going to be a quiet month, think again. There are so many events lined up you’ll have your iCal stocked up in no time. There’s something out there for everyone, from parties to food events, shows to expos and so much more. Here are a few of the top ones we’re interested in!

The Three Palaces Festival

This baroque-inspired festival will take place from the 1st to the 10th of November and will bring a number of international talented performers together. The musicians and composers showcasing their art during this festival will visit the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta together with three baroque palaces on the island - Verdala Palace in Buskett, the Grandmaster’s Palace in Valletta and the stunning San Anton Palace in Attard. The Three Palaces Festival will give you the opportunity to enjoy classic, modern and jazz music from across the globe.

The Malta Book Festival

This annual festival is one that all bookworms love and look forward to every year. There’s a cultural buzz around The Malta Book Festival where meet and greets organised by authors, together with seminars and dramatisations, make the event even more popular amongst the general public. This year’s event will take place at the MCC in Valletta, so head down to the festival for a chance to meet your favourite local writers present at the event taking place from the 6th to the 10th November.

The MFCC Weddings and Events Expo

If you’re planning on getting hitched in the near future, or you are simply fascinated by the world of weddings or events, head to the MFCC for the expo of your dreams. This event will take place from the 7th to the 10th of November and will boast bridal services that could make your special day a whole lot better. From horse drawn carriages to stunning souvenir options, the MFCC Weddings Exhibition is one to look out for.

SiGMA 2019

SiGMA is always an awesome iGaming event that packs in tonnes of fun, opportunity and cutting edge technology. For the last five years, SiGMA has proven the importance of the industry on our shores and this year it’s set to be even bigger and better. If you currently work in the iGaming industry or aspire to become part of the biggest thing around, head to the MFCC from the 27th till the 29th November.

The Bacon Festival

Did someone say bacon? *drool* Yup, meat eaters rejoice, the gods have heard your cries, the bacon has been fried up and set to tantalize the senses for on the 11th of November in Pjazza Grandmastru, Qormi. The Bacon Festival will bring you live music and food stalls and make your culinary evening one to remember! Try out new bacon recipes or just grab a rasher on the go!

Malta International Games Festival

Are you a gamer looking for a festival made just for you? The International Games Festival will boast seven days of games and feature board games, card games, role-playing activities and more. If this seems like your cup of tea, head to Casino Maltese in Valletta from the 18th to the 24th November for a super cool event.

The Gatsby

If a party’s what you’re after - then you should book yourself a night (and morning after) off and hail a taxi in Gianpula’s direction. The Gatsby party set for the 16th of November and will headline DJs Brady, Sandro, Stevy Vee & DJ Ruby. The Club House will be all decked out in Gatsby fashion to welcome its esteemed guested. You’ll be kicking it regal style from 10pm to 4am the next morning.

Vitori by Cirque du Soleil

The circus is in town ladies and gentlemen! And what a show the Maltese population are to expect! The 40th anniversary of the MCC in Valletta will this year be putting on an incredible show that incorporated the logic and focus of a traditional chess game. That’s right folks, VITORI’s love themed performance between the golden king and the black rook will take to the stage from the 27th of November to the 20th of December.
