5 summery things you can still do in Malta (even though it’s not summer!)
The sun is always shining in little Malta.

Just because summer is done and dusted, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the sunshine! The Maltese islands are fortunate enough to get about 300 days of sunshine per year so catching some rays out by the sea is a huge probability in the coming months. Here are some of your options;

Walk on the beach

Plan a trip to the beach where you can kick of your shoes and walk on the sand (and maybe plan a picnic for later?) If you’re brave enough, dip your toes into the vacant blue but be warned, the temperature is not quite that July-hot any more.

Have a BBQ

Even though BBQs are meant to be enjoyed in the sweltering heat with a cold beer in each BBQ attendee's hand, you’ll still manage to get the job done for a little while yet. On the upside, you’ll be able to tolerate the heat a little bit longer.

Chill in the sun

A break in the sun is always appreciated - head out for your lunch break and enjoy the warmth. A quick bite to eat by the sea is a great way to zone out and absorb the sun’s rays.

Take your dog swimming

The local beaches are mostly dog friendly throughout the autumn and winter, so your pup can enjoy the Med. Let your doggo run across the bay but be sure to pick up after man’s best friend and keep the beaches clean!
