Hugo’s Boutique Hotel
Owner Hugo Chetcuti has a knack for bringing in the crowds by making everything he touches stylish and trendy, and his boutique hotel smack in the middle of Paceville is no different. The luxurious adults-only (16+) hotel offers a selection of 40 high-tech rooms and embodies the entertainment area's lively energy, while still promising chic sensibility and tranquility.
Hotel Juliani
Probably the very first design-oriented boutique hotel on the island, the award winning family-run Hotel Juliani has an ideal vantage point in the heart of Spinola Bay. This original seafront townhouse has been meticulously converted by Malta's most illustrious architects and designers, to provide an intimate setting of 47 rooms. The design details offer guests a taste of Malta's unique history and contemporary Maltese culture, with touches like bespoke ceramics, custom artwork, a library offering Melitensia, and local menu items from pastizzi to pudina.
Hotel Valentina
The three-star hotel with a five-star heart, Hotel Valentina was designed by renowned architects MXA alongside the owner to create this sophisticated blend of contemporary style and modern flair. A monochrome colour scheme is predominant throughout, bringing a stylish yet timeless feel to the space. The height of the foyer has been exploited to maximise the feeling of space, light and air, while the public areas are apparent and intertwined, with the language of the spaces open; evocative of the Maltese spirit of hospitality.
The George Urban Boutique Hotel
One of the few eco and designer hotels in Malta, the design here is fresh, spacious and calm, dedicated to relaxation. Natural materials used in a contemporary way offer a luxurious, quality feel. The rooftop offers the cool and contemporary Sky Lounge, while the hotel also offers an indoor heated swimming pool equipped with a sauna, steam bath and spa.
