A purr-fect home! These colourful new cat shelters are being installed in Fgura

The adorable felines in the southern town of Fgura will soon have a couple of very colourful new homes, thanks to the efforts of a dedicated team of animal lovers in the area.

In some great news for our four-legged friends, Adrian Tanti, Councillor at Fgura Local Council responsible for Sports & Animal Rights has announced the installation of two out of a total of eight shiny new car shelters in Fgura.

Aren’t they the cutest?

Sharing photos of the shelters via a social media post, Adrian writes that they will serve to shelter the cat colonies in the area from adverse weather conditions, providing a safe haven for our feline friends.

Appealing to the public to not get too close to the shelters in the interest of safety, the Councillor goes on to give thanks to the Agriculture Ministry, which helps fund food for the cats, veterinary services and medicines, as well as the construction of the shelters themselves.
