This adorable doggo is just €300 away from being able to walk & run freely again

One local pet pooch, Sprite, has been through quite a journey in recent years to acquire some much needed equipment to help its mobility and now needs just one last push to be able to bound across the Maltese countryside.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, its owner reveals Sprite's long journey towards walking again: "Almost a month ago my bionic leg arrived and was fitted, i couldn't walk properly as you can see in the video but mama just thought that i had to learn how to walk again since its been almost 2 years that i hadn't walked properly."

The post continues to highlight Sprite's difficulties as it reveals further adjustments need to be made for him to be able to walk properly. Furthermore, a second prosthetesis is needed for him to enjoy some well-deserved outdoor exercise: "Mama said that i dont have enough funds on my account, will you help me get my another prosthesis and ultraflex joint by raising 670 euros?" the post continues.

The heartfelt appeal has generated much public sympathy since being posted this morning. In fact over half the sum needed has already been collected, and Sprite is now only €300 away from his first proper jaunt in two long years.

Could you help make this pup's dream come true?
