A magical historical evening! Museums by Candlelight returns to Rabat & Mdina this September
It’s all happening on the 19th September!
Get off to a dreamy start to the weekend with these inspiring sunset photos
The passing of time. That big universe out there. The colourful beauty of this world. These are just some of the wonderful things that a sunset highlights. It makes one wish they were like the Little Prince on his tiny asteroid, moving himself a few inches at a time to watch the sunset over and over again!
No matter who you are, where you come from and what kind of life you live, everyone loves a beautiful sunset! Each one is a delicious moment of inspiration and awesomeness. Luckily, Malta is quite the land of glorious sunsets. As the week comes to a close, enjoy these Malta sunset pictures to put you in the right mood for the weekend.
When life feels like it's moving too fast, sunset is a reminder of another passing day. Yet within you can be found a stillness where time becomes irrelevant.
If a church represents the house of God...the whole universe is that indeed.
God is indeed the best artist and he seems to have a penchant for bold, bright colours. There is so much beauty to behold...with the right eyes to see it.
Not all those who wander are lost, it is said. "Just keep following your own way" suggests this meandering road in the Maltese countryside.
Sky and sea, branch and root...could you conceive that there's a whole universe inside yourself? All you are searching for is right there within you.
You don't see things as they are, you see things as you are. Then be love and be happy. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
There is plenty to marvel at, no matter where you are. There's nowhere to go and nothing more to do.
Yet, know that you can go wherever you want to go. Life is for living - do what you want with it.
It's better to be alone than in bad company, but a sadness shared is a sadness halved and a joy shared is a joy doubled!
Remember that little child within and allow it to come out and play. Being serious all the time has never done anyone any good.
When something or someone is different than you, be curious and playful. Enjoy that there's so many colours in this world - wouldn't it be awful if it were all monochrome?

Melanie was born and raised in Malta and has spent a large chunk of her life travelling solo around the world. Back on the island with a new outlook, she realised just how much wealth her little island home possesses.

This historic house is located within the walls of the Citadel in Victoria.
A slice of Chinese philosophy in Malta!
A definite must-see!
